A downloadable game for Windows

For the people in the far off year of 2014, the supernatural is but an everyday occurrence.

Paranormal agent Kristy Reynolds must investigate what happened to the missing residents of an apartment complex... and exterminate whatever might be hiding there.

This was made for Haunted PS1 Summer of Screams Jam under the theme of "architectural horror". Baby's first time modeling.

cool ...hope not dead this idea game

This was very cool

What a artstyle!!!

😊👍

It really captures the feel of a ps1 game. Interestingly they mention that the main character is on a paranormal investigation squad, so there is the opportunity for other cases.

My video on Paranormalscape.

Very interesting game, I really loved it.

Great graphics and atmosphere.

Quite interesting, I'd honestly like to see more of the story and how it progresses. Was only disappointed at the ending because I was just getting really into it. The walking only game play is a bit boring and I often couldn't find my character when turning corners, but otherwise I still liked it. Would love to know if you work on things like this or specifically this story more.

Thank you for playing! We did have puzzle elements planned but as a two person team and this being my first game we legit ran out of time for the jam! Ideally I wanted a combat system and a bigger story but for something like this it had to be cut down significantly.

I'm actually trying to work on a visual novel in the meantime (a passion project, actually) but school is temporarily in the way. I want to make a full Paranormalscape game down the road tho! I'm even working on style tests for new and improved models (this was my first time doing game models actually).

Omg this was great! I'm slowly going throght the entries to the summer jam but I wish I had played this one sooner!

Excellent use of audio and the camera to create tension. That change of perspective at the end made me so anxious.

Sorry for the late reply but I'm glad you enjoyed it!

You can thank Blushine for the camera work. They did a great job at building atmosphere.

Can... can we do something... ANYTHING about the wretched 24 frames per second? I feel sick...

It's Good

This was really awesome. I loved the atmosphere and underlying meaning to the plot. The character design was really cool and had a fun retro aesthetic. You also built tension incredibly well. This game feels like it has a very unique voice, and I'd love to see more from this story/Kristy!

Aww thank you! I think you can really thank Blushine for the tension build. There's only so much I can write to build tension so the audio and camera work really shine.

I really appreciate you enjoying the aesthetic as well! I'm actually working on a new Kristy model for maybe... future adventures??

really neat! i thought the character models and environments were great, the audio effects created some spooky atmosphere, and the bite-sized story left me wanting more!

Thank you!! Blushine really did an amazing job on the audio.

I'm considering expanding on the story too sometime if people would be interested!
